Now you are ready to experiment on your own! Continue the Wake Up Pleasure In Your Hands and follow the next points:
Focus points:
Focus on the sensations in your fingertips
Focus on the sensations inside your body
Bring back your attention to the sensations in your fingertips
Ask yourself this question: What do I need right now? (and let go of seeking the answer)
Ask yourself this question: What do I desire right now? (let go of seeking the answer)
Sit for 1 minute and notice your thoughts and stories and observe them
Feel inside your bodily sensations, is there a physical feeling of the desire or need?
Locate the physical part of the need and desire in your body and let it be
Relax into the sensation
After 5 minutes of meditation, answer the following questions:
How do I feel Inside my body and how is it different than before the meditation?
What desires and needs do I feel inside my body?
Did bringing awareness to the physical part of the desire or need give me a sense of peace?
Rate your feelings (1 out of 10): How good did I feel before the meditation?
Rate your feelings (1 out of 10): How good do I feel right now?
