A deep dive into Somatic Consent practice designed for professional practitioners working hands-on within the domains of bodywork, somatic healing, coaching, and counseling. Applicable to experts facilitating both private and group sessions.

In this course, we will focus on the most essential components of Somatic Consent, and how it can be applied across multiple domains of work. We will tune into the somatic dynamics of receiving and giving: what they are and what they are not, how they really work, and how to feel the difference in the body. In this course, we will learn as practitioners why it is so crucial to explore our own ability to embody the somatic base and increase our ability to guide our clients into their own process of building awareness.

Format

Learn in your own time: This program is focused primarily on professional hands-on practitioners (bodyworkers, daka/dakinis, somatic educators, workshop facilitators, sex coaches, sex workers, and other touch professionals). It is also open to wellness consultants, life coaches, therapists, physicians, and teachers of the somatic arts. Together we will explore ways to find more ease, joy, and integrity in our work. We will learn how to create ultimate safe spaces in all of our sessions and workshop that lead to the most effective and satisfying result for your clients and participants.

Use practical skills of discernment, assessment, and empowerment for authentic leadership and facilitation.
Feel the difference between who is doing the action and who is it for (and why embodying this is crucial for creating connection and intimacy.)
Discover your own hidden shadows and learn to set clear boundaries and limits as a practitioner. *Access parts of you that have been hidden away and are ready to be seen, appreciated, and healed.
Learn the framework of Somatic Consent and the four dynamics of the foundation of conscious communication.
Experience somatic pleasure and sensation in your own skin as a foundation for intimacy and connection.
Go deep into your own exploration (for as we know, we can only guide others only as far as we have been ourselves)
Become exquisitely aware of your desires and limits and how to communicate them.
Engage fully without ever crossing your clients’ boundaries.
Learn as a practitioner in what situations you should put yourself first, and in which it is necessary to be second.
Find out what your clients really want and practice skills around confidently expressing your limits.
