Ensuring the safety of our Somatic Consent Academy community is a top priority, and we take privacy and consent extremely seriously. We maintain a stringent privacy policy, and our members are required to maintain confidentiality regarding anything shared within the community or group trainings.
We offer numerous hours of theoretical content that you can explore at your own pace. Our videos on topics such as the polyvagal theory, the engagement system, and the science behind pleasure are concise and focus on individual topics, making it easier for you to understand and progress step by step.
All live trainings will be recorded and made available within the community. So, if you happen to miss one or more live sessions, you can still access and review the content at your convenience.
You are welcome to ask personal questions during any of our online trainings, and this is encouraged within the community. If you feel that your questions are particularly sensitive and prefer not to share them with the group, you can always reach out directly to a facilitator through private messaging.
Initially, we encourage you to introduce yourself in the online discussion section of the community application as a way for everyone to become acquainted with you and our welcoming community. However, it’s not mandatory to share anything if you’re not comfortable. That said, we would be delighted if you choose to engage and participate in our Zoom meetings.
Within the Somatic Consent Academy, we have a team of certified professionals who are eager to assist you on your journey of self-regulation and co-regulation. You have the option to schedule one-on-one coaching sessions with them or engage in weekly chats.
No, there are no sexual activities included in the online trainings. The touch-based meditation technique you will learn and practice is limited to using your hands to interact with physical objects. While the community may host discussions and talks related to relationships, sexuality, pleasure, consent, and desire, participation in these discussions does not involve sexual activities within the Somatic Consent Academy.
Yes, you have the option to cancel your Somatic Consent Academy subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will not be charged for another year of Somatic Consent membership when your one-year membership period concludes. You will retain access to the Somatic Consent Academy for the remaining duration of your one-year membership.
You have the opportunity to experience the Somatic Consent Academy for a 30-day trial period. If within the initial 30 days, you find that the membership and its features do not meet your expectations and you would like a refund, we will promptly reimburse you the full amount of the yearly membership fee.
